The venue
Only a few blocks from the heart of the city, The Domain Regatta Grounds, Hobart is the waterfront location for The Soundscape
Festival... it doesn't get anymore central than that folks. Throw in 180 degree water views and Mt Wellington as a backdrop and
the scene is set for what promises to be an unforgettable experience.
"Da Main" stage
Located at the northern end of the Domain Regatta Grounds, "Da Main" stage is perfectly positioned at the bottom of the gently sloping grassy parklands, providing every patron with an excellent vantage point.
River stage
Situated at the southern end of the festival site under the cover one mighty large marquee, the River stage as the name implies, backs onto the banks of the big blue Derwent River.
The Soundscape bar
The Soundscape bar is conveniently located between both stages meaning you're never to far from the action even when ordering an icy beverage. The monster bar means you can rely on getting your drinks fast from one of the many friendly bar staff. There will be plenty of icy beer on tap, as well as a fine selection of spirits, wines, soft drinks and water. (The Soundscape Bar will be open between 11.00am - 11.00pm).
Tassie tucker
Ample catering for all tastes will be available on site. The food court is located next to the Soundscape Bar and offers a wide range of flavour from hot chips to fine cuisine.
Jimmy's skate rampJimmy's Skate Team featuring some of the best young skaters in the state will be performing ramp skating demonstrations on the hour every hour for the duration of the festival. |

Giant screens
Each stage will have its own giant screen bringing you all the action live from both stages. During the five minute breaks between acts, extreme surf and skate footage shot in Tasmania means that the entertainment never stops!
