Taking place at the Hobart Regatta Grounds on Saturday January 9th 2010, Soundscape will explode in the centre of Hobart with the biggest names in local, national and international music, including headline act Empire of the Sun, plus Roots Manuva(UK), The Grates, The Panics, Ugly Duckling(US), Children Collide, 28 Days, Ash Grunwald, Grafton Primary, and Bonjah(NZ) with more to be announced.

The festival is limited to only 6,000 patrons and is expected to sell out. - Empire of the Sun dominates ARIA awards!
Empire of the Sun completely dominated the 2009 ARIA awards, kicking off with eleven nominations and turning seven of them into awards, including the two biggest awards of the night, Album of the Year and Single of the Year. Their live performance at the ceremony and footage from their Parklife performances should be a good indication of the explosive stage show we can all expect at The Soundscape Festival 2010! Luke Steele was also recently nominated Man of the Year by GQ magazine.

- Official Soundscape Afterparty at The Republic Bar
The ONLY official Soundscape afterparty has been announced. It will be held at The Republic Bar from 11pm-5am. You can expect insane DJ sets from Ugly Duckling, Grafton Primary, Spinfx, Adam Turner, and more! Tickets are available only at the Republic bar, or in the unlikely event there is any left, at the Soundscape drink ticket booth. Tickets are $25 with a Soundscape wristband or $50 without.
