The Soundscape Festival 2011 - survey winners, results and improvements

We’d like to thank those who completed the Soundscape 2010 feedback survey so we can make next years’ festival an even better experience for each of you! Congratulations to the following winners:
Winners of VIP passes from focus group participants are: Nicky Morris and Lina Ward

As you know, The Soundscape Festival 2011 is just around the corner, ready to blow you away once again with some festival goodness. We would like to share some of the feedback we received from the survey, to let you know exactly how we are going to improve the festival in 2011.
A major point raised the survey was the amount of time spent waiting in the drink lines. We know this isn't a good experience, so Soundscape 2011 will be overstaffed to allow you to get your drinks in a shorter amount of time.
You told us that you would like more shade. We are creating heaps more chill out areas throughout the ground for 2011, with plenty of seats for you to lounge around all you want!
More than half of the survey participants told us you want more dance music… So we’ll see you at our dedicated dance stage! The hottest DJs from across the world will be hitting the decks at next year's festival.
The question arose if Soundscape 2011 should be an over age event. We are still thinking about this one...we'll get back to you shortly.
You told us you like the mix of bands, and the location where Soundscape is held. So we will be really ramping up the lineup and improving the layout to make it even more enjoyable.
Our new Facebook page (become a fan!) will be right by your side with every step of the way leading up to the event. All music news and side shows found here!
And as for our lineup…. we'll be dropping that on Wednesday September 15th!
